Here are my tried and true top tips for to keep your health in shape this winter!
MOVEMENT IS PARAMOUNT AND KEY TO FEELING EVEN A BASELINE OF GOOD. PERIOD.
Regular exercise.- MOVE YOUR BODY MIN 30 MINS – MIN 3 – 5 times per week.
Exercise does not have to mean going to the gym! While group classes are great for guidance and motivation, they can be time-consuming, and some people give up on exercise altogether
3. WHEN IN DOUBT – GO ON YOUTUBE!
NO excuses – youtube has it all. Any type of movement, length, and level. It is accessible to all and FREE!

FOOD AND NUTRITION TIPS:
In the winter you want to make sure to eat a lot of:
Roasted vegetables – season with sea salt, avocado oil, and fresh herbs. These are grounding and warming
Good fats – avocado, nuts and seeds, fish – sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts – all have essential nutrients that help your brain to feel focused and satisfied.
Spicy herbs and foods – cayenne, pepper, turmeric, ginger

REDUCE OR AVOID:
Ideally, you want to avoid eating lots of:
REFINED SUGAR foods,
All of these foods will spike then drop your blood sugar quickly, leading to fatigue and tiredness after eating. These foods also add stress to your system – increasing stress hormone cortisol in your body.
