We are not conscious that this framework has been laid, this is why the conscious desire to change is very different then what happens? – this is mind-blowing to me!!
It is important to normalize the battle hat we all have between our desires and intentions
Instant gratification comes from the subconscious mind (emotional world); If we want to change habits – we must focus awareness on the long term gratification of things”
Sugar has the same chemical effect on the brain as drugs
Finding new coping strategies – that do not have self-destructive outcomes to your health ie: exercise, meditation, calling a friend, having a healthy snack, riding the wave of the craving to see you can do it!
Program it in overtime – be gentle with yourself
